COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

When you use our website we may use cookies and other technologies in order to facilitate and customize your use of our services.

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small data text file, which a website stores on your computer or mobile device (if your Web browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify you to us.

Our cookies store randomly assigned user identification numbers and information that make your use of the website easier, make the website run more smoothly, and save your logged-in state so that you do not have to log in each time that you visit the website.

You have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies some parts of our website may not work properly in your case.

What are clear gifs? Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages.

We partner with third party ad networks to manage our advertising on other sites and utilize Google Analytics features based on Display Advertising (which may include but are not limited to: Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting and DoubleClick Platform integrations). As part of their service, they may use cookies and clear gifs. These Display features enable Google Analytics to collect data about site traffic via Google advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers, in addition to data collected through standard Google Analytics implementation. We will not provide any third-party ad server, including Google, with any of your Personal Information. We and our third party ad server will collect and use your IP address and certain aggregate information about you, such as your browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server and whether or not you responded to a particular advertisement. Using Google’s Ads Settings, you can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads.

ACCOUNT ACCESS AND SECURITY

CCB clients with web accounts may access their accounts online to update most of their Personal Information. To update or correct Personal Information that is not editable through their online account, such as their legal name, clients with web accounts must call Client Services. [Clients who purchase services from us online or offline may contact Client Services at the appropriate Client Services phone number to update their Personal Information].

Please keep in mind that your password is the key to your online account. Use unique numbers, letters, and special characters, and do not disclose your password to anyone. If you do share your password with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken using your account, and we will treat that person as “you.” If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your Personal Information or your account and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify us and change your password.

DATA SECURITY

Your electronic information is stored on CCB servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use various technologies and procedures (network and data encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access and disclosure. Due to the nature of Internet communications and evolving technologies, we cannot provide, and expressly disclaim, any assurance that the information you provide to us will remain free from loss, misuse or alteration by third parties who, despite our efforts, obtain unauthorized access.

Our website may contain links to websites that are not operated by CCB. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites nor for any adverse consequences that may result from your interaction with such third party websites. We recommend that you review the privacy practices of these third party websites.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we propose to use your Personal Information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, you will have a choice as to whether we may use your Personal Information in this different manner. If you have an online account, you will be notified of the modification so that you can confirm your acceptance of the modification. If you do not have an online account, your continued use of the site will indicate acceptance of the changes.
