FATHER'S DAY, EXPECTANT FATHERS COMPETE

IN THE FIRST-EVER "DADDY OLYMPICS"

LOS ANGELES (May 13, 2005) – The "Daddy Olympics" has begun its search for expectant fathers to participate in the pursuit of daddy "gold medals," testing the parenting abilities of Los Angeles' fathers-to-be. Chosen contestants will vie for up to $5,000 in much needed parenting supplies as they set forth to prove their fatherly skills, for what is bound to be a life-long career in assembling toys, cleaning messes and installing safety products. The "Olympic" events will take place on the Friday before Father's Day (June 17, 2005) in front of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, 3911 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90037.

Participating dads will compete in a diverse assortment of fatherly events, including car seat installation, Pak n' Play assembly, diaper changing, formula bottle preparation and nursery room decoration. The winner of each contest will take home that event's corresponding prize (i.e. a car seat, a Pak n' Play, a year's supply of diapers, a year's supply of formula and a nursery room makeover sponsored by Regazzi). Additionally, all 10 "Olympians" will go home with the "gold medal" gift of life in the form of cord blood storage for their new baby – a $1,200 value provided by Family Cord Blood Services, formerly known as California Cryobank Stem Cell Services, a recognized leader in cord blood banking.
